I started the thread a tad early; due to the holidays, etc.
So here it is guys, the 2022 General BS Thread. As an aside, would any of you guys possibly be interested in a Facebook group/group chat? It's a tad faster for me to respond, etc personally.
We got a little over an inch up here. Roads were bad last night. They sprayed the car cancer stuff on the roads for the past 2 days getting ready for it. I still say back when they would spread the old clinkers from the power plants that the roads were in better shape for driving then with the stuff they use today.
Roads were shut down, a zillion wrecks, and just overall got HAMMERED with snow.
My family all made it safely, even though we had to bust our Oreo our Jeep to make it to town the past 2 days due to the icy roads; but our road crews have the main roads, town, etc all clear to go now
There were over 500 cars stopped on I-64 at Mount Sterling for hours because of a series of tractor-trailer wrecks. I think there were around 75 cars that ended up wrecked.
It took a friend of mine 7 hours to get from Georgetown to Farmers.
Then this happened: Outside temperature is in the red box
Joyous Sunday morning Kentucky and Crew. Raining this morning but at least it isn't 4° like yesterday! We had 6 inches of white sheet and most of it has gone with the sun yesterday at 41° and the rain today. Now the flooding! I do hope not!
Merry Monday morning Kentucky and crew. I hope the rains coupled with the melting snow didn't cause any flooding.
We were supposed to be in the teens last night and 20° was the low. But we are not supposed to be above 32° with a little sun.
Merry Monday evening Kentucky Crew. Hope everyone had a great weekend and Ma Nature treated you well last night and today. A few miles this side the border I had 7 inches at dawn and we have had another inch (we were not supposed to get) this afternoon.
Have a great week!
Good Morning Kentucky on this Taco Tuesday. Hope everyone had a good start to the week despite Ma Natures Tantrum!
We picked up another inch yesterday afternoon and the brings my total to 8 inches.
