Happy Happy Hump Day Kentucky and Crew. Hope everyone has a great day and be the Humper and not the Humpy! According to the Soothsayers and their Defective Crystal ball there may or may not be rain and storms this side the border! Who knows!
Hope Ma Nature smiles on you!
Tractor show went great. Nothing too unique at the show. No steam. There's a show around Shelbyville, Ky that I've been told there's a guy that has a couple steam tractors, but I haven't been there. That's the only place in Ky that has steam, from what I've been told. Ohio and Indiana shows will have steam, at least the big ones will. Got another one today in Piner Ky. https://www.facebook.com/events/669352267594481?ref=newsfeed
Joyous Sunday morning Kentucky, and crew. Beautiful day this side the border yesterday but some unexpected rain overnight. The Soothsayers say storms this afternoon. We will see.
John, When they have the Arts and Craft fair at Cedar Lakes in Riply, WV and the state fair in Lewisburg, there is some steam exhibit. One gup has a horse drawn Steam engine and he shells corn, grinds corn meal with vintage equipment.
I have been to Shelbyville many a time, a good friend who is a nationally know Labrador breeder lives there. But I have never been to a fair or show there.
Tasty Two Taco Tuesday Kentucky and crew. Looks to be a hot, Humid and stuffy day this side the border at 95°, a high RH, little breeze, mostly sunny and an index of 105°+!
Heavy storms this side the border yesterday evening, real heavy 0300 and again 0700. about 60k out of power in the area and the Sammich Factory is out as well and a restoration time of late afternoon. So we get an unexpected day off. But that just means we will run harder the next two day to make up for today.
Sensational Saturday morning Kentucky and crew. This week was an interesting week with the heat and index of 105-111°, sever storms Monday, power out during the heat was for 28 hours, power out again yesterday for 3 hours and the storm that passed through.
We left Huntington headed to Wheelersburg, OH to buy an EGO fan from Lowes, they are the only place that has them in the area. We watched the storm all the way there and about the time we were 15 minutes out the wind started. The we pulled in the parking lot and the wind driven monsoons started and we sat in the truck for about 20 minutes with heavy down pours. All the way home there was a trees down and debris in the road. At my house there was some debris but we had 0.81 inches of rain in 30 minutes.
Joyous Sunday morning Kentucky and all the UK crew. Hope everyone is having a great weekend, rested up and ready for the new week. Looks like Monday will be a nice day but Tuesday - Thursday will be 90's and high index again.
Happy Happy Hump Day Kentucky Cats fans. Looks to be hot, humid and sever storms later today this side the border. Hope you have a nicer day!
If you get the storms, be safe!
