Sensational Saturday morning Kentucky and crew.
Wesley looks like my place with all the mud. I need about 3 ton in the driveway to get out of the mud and 6 ton across the road.
Looks to be a better day this side the border than the Soothsayers predicted. Hope you have the same and a great start to the weekend!

Back in the 80's my brother drove a dump truck for a short time in his life, a tandum axle Ford L8000 I think. It had a 429 with a Holley 4-Barrel carb. He said the other truckers hated him when they got to a hill. It had 2 transmissions in it. It was horribly slow!
If you JUST have the expectations of "Well, it got here." then you'll not be disappointed.
I REALLY want to either swap a 5.9 or 7.3 in it and be done.

I totally understand. Our M817 6X6 dump goes about 50MPH, wide open and down hill. The M35A2 goes a whopping 56MPH, down hill with a tail wind.

Morning Kentucky and Wesley. Out dusting left early in the morning as well and reached 30° with some sun.
Starting today at 13° but headed to 50° according to the soothsayers!

Yeah, we went from 63F to 27F in just a few hours. Then got a dusting of snow.

Not bad here, Rod. Luckily, we didn't get the huge rain that was predicted this week. We got plenty, but not the flooding we could have.
I really love fall and winter but am looking forward to spring and summer this year. The last two years have been quite boring here.
