That said, I love snow. So, it's been a good month for me.
We got around an inch and a half here, since I posted earlier.

Better than the 16in "dusting" of snow we got back in 1998?

So what's everyone's plans for 2022? Mine specifically are to get my property developed, and get a home setup on it ASAP to escape the dreaded R word.

Given my health issues, I'm effectively going to be using nearly all our tax return as a "Hail Mary" move to get us squared away.

Would like to get a few vehicle projects finished, maybe do a meet or 2 and then sit back for winter.

How much damage in your area? I was looking around on the net and didn't find a lot of doom and gloom stories. Was it not as bad as predicted?

We ended up with less than 1/4" of ice, very little sleet, and about 1/2" - 3/4" of snow. All in all, not too bad.

Damage was very minimal as far as I know. Some power outages, but those were taken care of rather quickly. We have a couple that lost power around 4:00pm Thursday, but had it back on by Friday morning. They also have a fireplace. House only dropped to 56 degrees, so no frozen pipes or anything.Their fireplace is not big, but does keep that particular room quite warm.

I could easily live with that. I don't need a replay of last year.

Sensational Saturday Afternoon Kentucky and crew.
Hope everyone has or gets power back quick.
This side the border in my woods we had about 1/8th inch ice and no problems from it. But we woke this morning to 2.5 inches and now 3 of white sheet we were not supposed yo get! LOL
We have topped out at 24° and headed to the bottom of the freezer tonight in the single digit!

Joyous Sunday morning Kentucky and crew. Have a wonderful day.
It is going to be in the mid 40's here and sun most all day. Hope the white sheet we got leaves!
