If you plan to abuse it Oxford white will take an absolute beating. I wet sanded one once till my arms went numb. Maybe 2 tone with stone gray at the bottom if you want to dress it up some.
The tri coat white stays clean too but shows damage more than oxford.
I currently have an Ionic silver truck and its pretty decent at staying clean and hiding damage.
Magnetic gray was a good color that hid dirt as well but not offered anymore.
Get the color you love. White is easier, but not necessarily easy. White is very plain and very popular. It needs to be perfectly clean to stand out. I went with Star White for two reasons. One, it was the right color for this trim, and two, I’ve never owned a white truck.
Antimatter is a very unique blue/black color, and if that is the one you really like, go for it. It’s a hot looking color. You can not go wrong.
Personally, I honk two tone is slightly out of style. A pure color shined up?👍
George- have any more pics of your truck? I'd love to stare at them while I wait for my Star White Limited to be built!
i do love that color scheme. That’s why it’s on my short list. Sexy as hell for sure.
As some have said, two-tone may not be the “in” thing…. But I’m telling ya….. the antimatter blue / stone combo is really really attractive. Once I saw one it was game over for me.
My F450 is antimatter blue two tone and is absolutely gorgeous. I personally love how the color shifts in different light. It’s a very classy look. That said, it does show dirt easily. I have a coat of ceramic applied, and keep a supply of speed shine and microfibers handy. I think it’s the most attractive color scheme with the two tone of all of them…. Eye of the beholder……
I love the pearl whites like Star White BUT if you ever need any body work it’s tough to match.
My last 5 Ford trucks all have been Magnetic Gray. Since it’s no longer available I went with Carbonized Gray with my 2922 order. My friend has it on his F150 and it looks good. The Grays seem to be able to stay clean looking longer here in Florida.
I love the pearl whites like Star White BUT if you ever need any body work it’s tough to match.
Modern paint systems are incredible, and if your body shop owns current and modern mixing technology, I don’t think matching is an issue today.
A few years ago, absolutely could be an issue.
Another positive of Star White, it goes well with anything you tow
I agree. The Star White is really impressive when you see it in person, especially close up. At sunset, the metal flakes will catch some of the red light making a pretty interesting combination.
I had some flat black wrap added to match it up a little more with the toy hauler.
My 2019 F250 is Platinum White, with the metal flake. When clean, it is beautiful especially in the sun. Currently, with all the snow, ice, mud, road grime, it's not so pretty.
They dropped the ball by getting rid of Lithium Gray for 2022
I’m sure the bean counters go by the amount of sales per color when deciding to drop it.
Lith looks great on a Tremor, but probably not a popular color.
