Question HELP !

Im installing the fuel canister in my truck and I CANT install the low hose from the canister to the fuel pump, are there any tips, tricks. ?
I know I should change to E-fuel, but in this moment I cant afford the price (at least 12,000.00 MX, plus importation to my country)

Thanks in advance.

Best regards.

Are you talking about the return hose (part 8 in this diagram) between the fuel bowl and pump?
If you haven’t seen it yet, check out the Fuel Pump Replacement guide written by Sam Miller.

Yes thats the hose. I have read that write up several times and I dont see how that hose can be atached to the fuel pump. thats my problem. I have tried to push the fuel bowl and dice nada. It seems that need something to catch the hose and then push it to the FP, but I havent already.

Thanks a lot AMIGO. T

The write up, only put this:
Adjust all the hoses and be sure the clamps are on and positioned for easy access. (Once again, the lower hose will have to be clamped securely to the filter canister at this point since you won’t be able to reach it once the assembly is bolted down.) Lower the filter assembly back onto its pedestal, connecting the lower hose to the fuel pump as you go. Check that the wiring looms and connectors on both sides are positioned correctly. Adjust all three short hoses correctly and tighten the clamps. Remember to “aim” the clamps for easy access later, just in case there is a leak and you need to get to them with a screwdriver or ¼ inch socket. Don’t forget to reconnect the drain hose also. And CLOSE THE YELLOW WATER DRAIN LEVER.

Sure you got 3/8 in hose? If so try some wd40 on the connection. When I changed mine when stock I never had this problem . I just wiggled and pushed.

Jose I would install the hose on the fuel bowl side along with the feed that's above it. Little diesel in the hoses and kinda "cam"it in there with lots of up and down wiggling with pressure against it. That's how I've always done it. Dunno if that helps.
