Fuel filter change, need help
I have 66 ford f100 352. I am planning on doing the oil, spark plugs and fuel filter this weekend. I found the filter at the store, not bad $4. My question is, when I go to unscrew the canister, will fuel just start spilling out? How do de-prime the system? I need some help, my son just filled up the truck and I don't wanna spill all the fuel.

This is the integral FE fuel pump right? The answer is "Yes" fuel will gush out, and likely keep on gushing out. What I do is pinch off the rubber hose leading to the pump inlet with a pair of vise-grips or a clamp. Protect the hose itself with a split section of old hose wrapped around it or something like that. This will prevent any fuel from the tank spoiling the fun, the only fuel lost would be from the pump itself and forward of that point. Keep an extinguisher nearby just in case, don't do this in the garage.
