I replaced the rear mail seal for the third time today .
I'm hoping that the 3rd time is the charm.
So far so good.
I don't know why but I never have liked that gray distributor cap, it was on the 390 that came in the truck.
And I don't know why it took me soo long to replace it.
I hope the oil leak is fixed. I've hardly been able to drive the old truck for nearly a month.
That leak has saved me a lot of money in gas.

With the headers and dual exhaust its a lot easier to drop the pan.
Its nearly impossible to install the pins (nail) in the side seals with the engine in truck.
It looks like I might be doing it a forth time.
I'm tempted to pull the engine next time.

Judging from this picture I think the original radiator's life has been exceeded.
Here's my aluminum 3-row radiator.
I really need to get it installed.
I lack creative fabrications skills, otherwise it would already be in the truck.
When I do install it I will use this fan and clutch.

What did that come off of? It looks like one I bought at a salvage yard off a 460 Lincoln, was 19" of 7 blade driven wind power. I had a '67 Chevell SS, 4spd, had AC and sometimes in traffic, like race traffic, it would heat up and I'd have to turn the AC off ... and sweat. It was a flex like fan as I recall, it made a heck of a noise at speed, but it cured my heating. I could use it now. My truck has a stock 5 blade fixed blade, non clutch fan. I've looked at some at e-trailer.

This is what I do in my spare time, volunteer.
We're building a foot trail here in the park with grand money that the FoMoCo Bronco Foundation granted us.
Only six location in the US received one of these grants to build new trails,
We also built an ATV trail with the money.
The park employees get paid for the time they spend working on the two trails.
Me being a volunteer I work for free.
Volunteering is one of my favorite things to do.
Happy Father's day to all the fathers out there.
