Just setting around, I can get a price check on 4, shipping one at a time is not that bad in a card board box
I can only imagine what shipping would cost to get them here.

These are the wheels and hubs that I want.
Patience will pay off. I hope.

The only changes I'd wish for is a little more wheel offset and shorter hubs. I'd want my hubs protected by a sidewall and rim.

I had not realized just how far they stick out until now. thinner locking hubs that aren't quite so "tall" and maybe an inch ... or just a half inch ... spacer set would do it nicely I think ... if were mine. Those wheels have a nice, easy to keep clean profile and surface.

The only concern I'd have with those wheels is "IF" they are like some new styles where the outer face and rim were one piece or stamping, and the inner rim and drop center portion are welded to the back, and in some cases creating pockets that can hold mud and water and rust ... all hidden.

A steel wheel I really like is those old school 8 spoke wagon wheels (like "Jackman" I think they were called), or those steelies like NASCAR cars used, with the "D" shaped spoke holes.

Come on over when you relocate to Ks or Ok, I'll still be around in Missouri. Sorry to say I have since sold the aluminum spokes that were 16.5 and 10" wide and they cost around $35 each (just for shipping cost), one per box. I think I sold the Hurricanes/fins also. I know the slots are still under the shelf. And some others.

When I 1st got the shed and built the shelves, I was wall to wall with rims. And now all the shelves are covered up. And stuff is in the rafters.

My '79 had those wheels. I bought them in 16" to replace the 16.5" that came on the truck
so I could go to a taller tire.
I've done a lot of 4-wheeling and never busted a hub from hitting something with them,
I guess I was just pretty lucky over the years.

I don't think they would look good on my truck but with my '79 being yellow and white
with a white shell I think they looked great.

That's a lot of wheels Rich.
One of my friends had a red '74 Highboy with those wheels with the recessed area painted red
with a factory Ford shell with the boarder painted red. It was a nice looking truck and I always
loved those wheels but they are 16.5" and not 16".

If I never find factory stock steel wheels I'm OK with what's on there now, even though they are Dodge wheels.

I went for a short drive yesterday.
I sure like the old truck.
I look forward to the day I can get in it a go where 0ever I want in comfort and style.

I do plan on buying another truck come January.
I am going to look for another one of these.
Most trouble free vehicle I have ever owned.

I once looked at 15" Jackmans, but the way the spokes were welded to the rim looked weaker to me than a full stamped center welded in there like most wheels, but they certainly wouldn't hide mud. I was maybe wrong. They do look different. I didn't know they only came 16.5, and not 16.

Those ten "D" hole wheels have a center stamped, I just spied them in your shed, but I see were 5 lug.

My FIL had 15x10s on his '77 F-250, but I never knew the brand, but they were 8 spoke wagon wheels with a full circle stamped center welded in the rim. His truck had larger brakes, the rims were close, but no rubbing calipers. He had 32/11.5x15 tires on it last I saw the truck. After he passed, his son took the truck home to Geargia & used it to haul a camper and pull a horse trailer with two horses as he "re-enacted" the 125th CW. It failed an inspection in the early '90s due to bad frame rust behind the gas tank on the driver side frame, he sold it to a next door pig farmer then.

I prefer tall and skinny to short and fat.

Those white spoke wheels had on my '79 were the cheapest wheel I could find
They were probably the bad ones but they ended up rusting away like the rest of the truck did.
