me too
ran them on a 460 for quite awhile
did great off road. It required some tuning cause it was a 795cfm ebay carb on a little more than mild engine.

noticeably improved low end throttle response over a 830 holley and would damn near run on its side

Not my truck yet, and I hope it isn't for a long time. Wife's dad is an old biker, gearhead, hellraiser. I hope I have a long time to get to know him and help him work on his truck. Not looking good though, multiple motorcycle crashes and now multiple strokes have taken a heavy toll.

This is an all original 1966 Mercury with a 410 in it.

They used the same one on 65-67 FE engines.

I need one.

I have another pickup but it has a camper on it and I didn't want to take it off and drive the truck with the gas prices as high as they are so I bought a trailer hitch for my car and hauled the engine on my ATV trailer. The car is a bit more comfortable and is easier on gas than my truck is.

How much engine could that drivetrain handle? Would a 427 side-oiler be too much?

That's why I bought it.

I looked for a long time for the right one and bought it about 2 1/2 years ago.
Its been an awesome car and its a great road car.
I had a killer stereo installed after I bought it.
It gets very respectable gas mileage to boot.

The weakest point in these F-250's drivetrain is stronger than the strongest point in a cars drivetrain.

So I'd have to say yes.

My valve covers showed up today and I couldn't be more pleased.
They could pass for NOS, not even a slight scratch where the mounting bolts go.

They look brand new.
