Wireless CarPlay?
I had a rental F150 last month with Wireless CarPlay, it drove me nuts to the point I stopped using it. I am not sure if was me not understanding it, or the way it was setup.
1 Eveytime I started the truck it went to CarPlay weather I wanted to use it or not.
2 When I tried to stop using it it would pop back up
3 It kept overriding the radio station I was listening to with IHeart radio
When I would switch it off it would come back on by itself. So I finally turned it off and went backed to wired.
I am pretty sure the 2021 and lowers do not support it because the hardware is not there. If I am not mistaken it uses Bluetooth for the connection. The older Sync system does not have the bandwidth to support the wireless CarPlay.

I took my wife's Infiniti suv in to the dealer to have the software upgraded to use wireless CarPlay. It's awesome.
Made me wonder if Ford will do this any time soon? Nothing was changed in her suv just a software update that took about 45 minutes. They sent a letter out and offered it as a complimentary service.
Makes me think the capability is there for Ford as well?
