Customer Satisfaction Program 08B07 On Hold For New Updating By Ford:

I went to Ford Dealership this morning to have my Job#1 PSD updated with the latest reflash Customer Satisfaction Program (CSP) 08B07. A message has just been issued by Ford on 20 October putting the CSP 08B07 on hold for the week starting 20 October while they change the update with new data. Perhaps check with your dealership before you go there to ensure the new updated CSP 08B07 has been issued. It may save you a drive for nothing.

CSP 08B06 is also available for the installation of the Cooling System Venturi Tee Kit. I had it done in August before the recall CSP 08B06 was issued. If you take your origional invoice showing the repair performed prior to the issue of CSP 08B06 to your dealership, Ford will consider a refund. The refund application must be done through the dealership and not directly to Ford.

I'm one of probally many people that called Ford on Monday and told them it didn't work. My truck still doesn't tell me when it's in regen or do I get the message when I scroll threw my driver infromation center. The good news is my dealer is only 75 miles away and that's one way.

As soon as my dealership advises me when the updated CSP 08B07 is available, I will update the PCM and pick up any information about the new changes. I know that some of the members have had the reflash done already and may miss the new changes that are being developed at this moment.

Remember the CSP 08B07 applies to trucks built between June 13, 2006 and 2 August, 2007. These dates are stated in the CSP letter.

You guys have to give it more time! Your not going to regen instantly. I had my truck flashed around 9/15/2008 and have only seen the message three times in 1800 miles.

If any thing (for me) it would have to be the message controll center info thats not working.. my mpgs went up and it seems to be shifting different (i didnt say better just different)I never got better than 10-10.4 around town but when i left the dealer it was up to 17 until i started hitting red lights and traffic. Hell when i got to the driveway it read 13.5 so somethin must of took. Does any one know for sure what exactly the guys who had the flash are missing?..chuck

The lady at Ford told me the message is susppose to appear when you scroll threw your infromation center. I'm at 400 mile since this was done and no regen message yet. As I said in another post I've always gotten great mileage

I just had mine done today 10/22 and the dealer didn't say anything about this.
But this is a dealer that doesn't know anything about the fast idle hook up to the upfitter switch either.
why would ford make a change in the middle of a change. don't they have their act together yet.

Actually 08B07 applies to trucks from Job 1 thru September 15, 2008. Also, I have looked (and asked around) and found nothing to confirm what your dealer has stated about the temporary stop to the program...
