Need to replace my headlights, and have been searching for the right ones. I think I have found them along with the bulbs but I wanted to check with the resources here as my local AutoZone and oreilly's are not as knowledgable or helpful.
those do look like good headlight housings, but I have had very bad long-term experiences with aftermarket headlight housings compared to OEM, as far as teh reflector peeling, and the lens fading. I even had one that was almost opaque and all of the reflective coating was dust in the bottom of the housing.
So far as the LED bulbs go, I did not have good experiences with the LED lights in the stock housings. I would suggest the upgraded wiring and a good set of bulbs (i.e. sylvania silverstar) first. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l#post19667604

I'll second this. I put OEM clear lenses back on mine, following aftermarket clear lenses that decayed. I also added the powered harnesses and noticed a huge difference. Very happy.
Still toying with the idea of putting the '05 OEM housings on it.

Can you elaborate on the "powered harnesses", I'm not familiar with those. Thanks

They are powered directly from the battery to the relay to the lamp, therefore sending full power to the lamp. The voltage drop in the factory harness is what makes for a dim drive.
This reminds me, I have to add these to my pickup.
