I have a 1971 F250 300 inline 6 with 7" round Halogen lights as an upgrade. The Halogen lens look a lot like the original seal beam lens and I like that look. My question is are there any LED headlight lens that look like the original seal beam lens? Also will the LED headlights work with a stock 65 amp alternator? The headlight system has an up grades relay in already.
LEDs normally use less power than the halogens. I tried the Hella brand sealed glass lens because they are just like stock, but you can swap the bulb to LED. Problem is that most LED bulbs don't project correctly in a halogen lens. There are TONS of LED headlights replacements, but only a couple look like a halogen, and the ones that look like halogen tend to perform worse than the halogen.
