Gang - I successfully swapped out my vacuum control switch. During reinstallation I checked on each of the vacuum lines to make sure each is properly seated. I found two lines connected to the switch harness but not connected to anything else at the other end. We vacuum lines are the orange and blue ones in the picture below. (Bad lighting…sorry).
Both lines are bundled together and relatively short in comparison to the others. I have no indication that any of the heat and air controls are inoperative.

Has anyone come across a diagram or a color decoder that might help me track down where these two stray lines should terminate? I can certainly cap each before I put everything back together but figured I would ask the group to see if you have any perspective.

Rich - perfect. Both relate to the heat defrost door motor. I’ll see if I can track that down and reconnect.

On my truck, the Orange and Blue go to the actuator that would be above your toes if you were sitting in the middle of the bench seat. My actuator is bad and I am trying to find a replacement for it. I think the number is D3TZ-18A318-A which appears to be unavailable. This actuator appears to be for the floor/defrost mixer door.

The OEM Ford and original Motorcraft vacuum servos are long discontinued.
I needed two for my project and did some research and found a Motorcraft servo that is a bolt on replacement and is still available. I'll dig up the number and post it.

Okay, I found it. Motorcraft P/N YH-1666, Ford P/N 6W7Z-18A318-BA
I used two. The originals had two different P/N but this part literally bolted right on for both applications.
The nipples for the vacuum lines are slightly different but they bolt right on.

Hi!
I'm looking for the vacuum selector D5TZ-19B888-A as well. It's out of stock everywhere and looks like it has been for a few years now. Do you happen to have any more of these? Or know where I might find one?

I couldn't see how to send you a PM. Feel free to PM me.

Thanks!
