Vacuum Switch Valve
I plan on addressing the ubiquitous under-dash-vacuum-hiss in my 1977 F100 Custom (w/ AC). I have yet to tear into the dash on this truck for fear of disturbing dry-rotted plastic and PO wiring. As I think through the project, I would love feedback fromthose of you that have replaced the vacuum valve switch.

Ah...I am sure I have one of these too. It is easy to access, it's just on the backside of the environmental control panel. Remove the dash bezel (outer trim ring) and pull the panel (4 screws) that has the slider bars in it.

Be sure to get the right one. They changed in 78 and I think later 77s might be different. Dennis carpenter should have them.

So far the only difference I can see is the switch body color being green or black on the TOP 3 port vacuum selector.
The bottom compressor clutch switch part # D5TA -19B919AA is setting on my desk. I have another one still in the parts shed.
So LandAndStone you need one and what about you 79calicruiser?

Hey man... if you have the 8 port switch I would happily pay you in parts or cash.
