Helping a buddy identify this truck:

B = 300 1V HD six cylinder inline gas engine

V = Kentucky Truck Plant

R97287 = 1973 numerical series

135 = 135 inch wheelbase

No paint code, note the truck is a special order, so paint could have been part of that.

C617 = C600 gas, 21,200 lbs GVWR

118 = Standard Cab without sleep compartment. I do not have uphostery or seat type info.

JA = A 2 character transmission code usually means an auxiliary transmission. In this case, "J" does not correspond to anything listed for the 1973 model year in the MPC copy I have. In later years it indicated emissions or fan clutch info.
A = New Process model 435 four speed transmission

F3M(?)
F3 = Eaton model 15201 two speed rear axle, 15,000 lbs capacity, 6.33/8.81 ratios
M = Ford 7,000 lb capacity front axle with power steering. (If it's not "M" let me know what it is)

21200 = 21,200 lbs GVWR

72 = San Jose District Code
0195 = Special Order Number
