Some info from the VIN. Axle, transmission and other info is on the warranty tag on the door. Make sure the VIN on that matches the VIN on your title and frame.
C70 = C700 gas
D = 330 2V HD FT gas V8
U = Louisville Assembly Plant. (This agrees with it being a 1967 as after 9/69, all trucks were assembled at the Kentucky Truck Plant, code "V")
A59496 = 1967 numerical sequence. (1976 uses a similar series, but the assembly plant indicates it being prior to 9/69)
No color code, special order.
175 = 175 inch wheelbase
C702 = C700 gas, 25,500lbs GVWR, Hydraulic brakes, except state of PA.
191 = This is upholstery, seat type, cab type. The source I have is unclear and incomplete. Best I can figure you have a standard cab.
L = Clark model 2651-V1 OR 2653-V1, 5 speed direct transmission
8Q = I don't have axle info and can't find this code in earlier decodes. Based on those that are close to that number/letter combo, you could have a single speed axle in the 7s. Do you have a single speed, no red button on the shifter? There is no front axle code, so whatever was standard and no power steering.
UPDATE:
8Q = Eaton model 1790-A-91A single speed rear axle, 18,500 lbs capacity, 7.17 ratio. (But this truck has a two speed in it....)
25500 = 25,500lbs GVWR
164 3800 = 164 certified net HP @ 3800 RPM
I can't make out the last number, but it's the district code, (first 2 digits) and special order number.
I'll try to find the axle code again.

Reason: complete decode
Was told it has 2 spd rear...I don't know about the shifter. I'm interested in buying her so I don't have all info yet. It's a tilt cab. Also tilt bed. Yellow paint. Daully rear but also has additional helper Axle
I can't see the shifter in those pictures. If it has a two speed, it will have a switch like this on the stick, with wires running down through the floor.
Not a runner but not frozen. A shame it's hydraulic brakes tho. Was hoping for air..I just stumbled upon it for sale. Wasn't really looking. As far as parts I understand. But I'll make do lol.
Check that VIN vs. the title and the vin stamped into the right frame rail just fore or aft of the axle.
If the door was ever replaced, they might have left the old tag on there. Unlikely, but not impossible.
If you had PS, it should have been an optional axle and it should have a front axle code. (based on info provided by Numberdummy and by the Master Parts Catalog)
