Ok so, Ford dealer is telling me that either my Morimoto headlights or my RBP tail lights are causing the issue... but they've been in the truck for over a year and over 15k miles... I knew they were going to come back with this. I feel like it's going to be an ongoing battle. And of course I don't have the factory lights to pop back in and show them this isn't the issue.
There are several threads on these type of issues but they are all titled so randomly they can be hard to find, and the issues never seem to be exactly the same. The plugs at the rear seem to be a common culprit. Water in taillights or problems in the wiring harnesses were also mentioned, either the harnesses along the frame or inside the truck. I had similar problems with my truck and the tech found a broken wire under my dash. I did recently see a thread in here where the brake switch (pedal) was faulty and causing similar issues, may want to check that. If you still have your stock lights maybe it’s worth sticking them back in to check. I’ve had no problems with my Morimotos and they weren’t in when I had these issues. It can be frustrating took my dealer 2 weeks of researching and diagnosis to fix it. Good luck!
Editing: I noticed now you had said you don’t have your stock lights. Also there was another F250 in at the same time as mine with the same issues and they found the same cause on both. I’d ask them to do some wiring tracing under the dash. Mine was on the drivers side.
WELL GOSH DARNET GUESS WHAT?... this was exactly my issue. After all day at Ford they couldn't figure it out I got home,, pulled the plug and water came out... sheesh. I even told them to look at that plug.

I hate to lump dealers together, but you really are at the mercy of what tech that gets the job. I don't go to dealers but I'm lucky and don't need to. Glad it worked out, power of the Forum.
