Startup screen problem

Ever since I pulled my last trailer my startup screen is always on towing now. How do I get it back to My view or speedo screen on startup?

Maybe try rebooting it. There are youtube videos that show you how. I watched one where someone had a problem from putting it into reverse too quickly after starting the truck, without letting it boot up, and it got stuck on the wrong screen. I recall it was a matter of holding down two buttons for a few seconds to reboot it.

This has come up a bunch, I think I've read it has to do with disconnecting the trailer while the truck is off. Also, something about going into the towing screen and selecting "no active trailer".

Go into trailer settings and select no active trailer.

Did you happen to disconnect the trailer with the truck off? I hear leaving the truck on while doing so negates the need to hit that check box each time.

my 2021 has done this a few times and it each time i had disconnected the pig tail when truck was off, which is not normal for me.
i did notice after the latest sync 3 update, the camera now shows a highlight of a trailer and the truck when backing up.. I never noticed this before .
