Thanks again for the help everyone. I think I’ll pull the glow plugs and give them a good visual inspection while I have it all torn apart.
That said I’m going for it! Wish me luck I hope I don’t get too in over my head. I have help from a friend that has done a few cup jobs in the past so I’ll lean on him quite a bit.
I have gotten legit gp's from Amazon. Auto Parts wholesale as the seller a few times, never had fake anything get sent from them.
Y'all making me paranoid around here...I did my GP's back in 2018...just checked and ordered from the same sell as ESwift I know I checked them at the time for BERU stamping and all looked good...been lighting off great for 3 years so hoping that means I didn't get a knock off...that said, just got an email from Amazon about 2 weeks ago refunding me for some Frontline Plus I ordered for my dog back in 2019 that was determined to be counterfeit...kinda makes you wonder how they realized that over 2 years ago someone sold counterfeit flea medicine...not much we can do about it that 3 month supply was already used on the pooch a long time ago now!

Rot Box 2, you should be good especially with a friend helping. As mentioned earlier patience is your guardian to help prevent any mistakes from being in a hurry. If there are any questions this group of guys can surely help out with excellent and experienced advise. The proper sealant on the cups is a MUST.
The best to you.
GPs look authentic with the flat spots just below the top. Do you think NAPA would replace the UVCHs? Not sure I would want them though, maybe a credit towards future purchases. They should last longer than one year. Got your NAPA receipt?
This is what my dormman gaskets looked like after 2 years. Installed by a shop in CO while I was back home in MO. Cracks and splits just waiting to leave me stranded again.
The thing I don’t understand is how three were cracked but none of them looked like fresh cracks. Also I have a hard time believing all three cracked bad enough to leak all at once. Oh well hopefully the new cups install easily and seal good! Bores look good and I’ll wipe some acetone in the bore to clean them up good before driving in the new cups.
Once you get all the cups in and they’re cured and you finally get the injectors in, place a straight edge across the tops of each bank of injectors to confirm they’re all at the same depth in the bores. You mentioned “driving them in” so I’m assuming you’re using the tool that requires “hammering the cups in”.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the tip. Yes I’ll be hammering the cups in with the tool I have. Kinda thinking I should have borrowed the RiffRaff tool though…. Seems like a much better way to do it.
We’ll see I’m sure many people have successfully hammered their cups in? Gonna be a pain on the back cylinders especially by that heater box.
