I’m trying to find some flywheel bolts that I can order today, and I don’t have the old ones in front of me at work. Can anybody confirm that they are supposed to be 7/16-20 x 3/4” long? Will .875 length work, or 7/8”?
or is there a set for a later model Ford I can order?
You should be able to get ARP flywheel bolts at an auto parts store. The heads on stock grade 8 bolts are thick and may interfere with the clutch center.

I measured last night and it looks like everything stacks up to be 0.878” so that makes sense if the bolts are .880”. My measuring could be off by a couple thou so that’s ok. The only ARP bolts I could find are for Chrysler, but they are 0.875” long, so they should work perfectly (and the local engine shop has them in stock).
