God I hate EVAP systems.....P1450 code help
2005 5.4L 3V triton with 200,000 miles on it.
It's throwing me a code for P1450. I had already cleared a couple other EVAP codes when I had fixed a vent solenoid which had shorted and blew up the electrodes for the solenoid and the fuse. I then bought a new purge valve just for good measure so I knew that was nice and new also.
Though even having fixed the shorted vent solenoid I still can't add gas to tank without pump clicking off?
Last time I checked I was getting power to the vent and purge solenoids so I believe they are actuating correctly... what next should I check? I'd rather not buy a new charcoal canister just for it to not be the problem throwing the code. I'm totally stuck any ideas??? Pressure sensor maybe?
Thanks
Welp... think I found my evap issue. Curious as to how this happens? Would this of been from water getting in the system or the truck running too rich? Only the one side of the canister was clogged (hose that runs from canister to vent solenoid) the other was perfectly fine.
