I did search the previous threads first!
I have a 2014 with 6.2. Check engine light code is P0446.
I first replaced fuel cap with OEM one and replaced the purge valve. Gave it several drive a rounds but code never cleared.
Put in a new vent solenoid, but found so much dust and dirt in the canister, just purchased a whole new complete canister with another new vent solenoid included with it.
Drove it several more times and check engine light never did turn off. Cleared out the code, but it immediately returns again the next start up.
I did check the wiring at the connectors and everything looks good and tight. I have no problems filling up the tank and the nozzle does not shut off early.
A broken wire somewhere else? Would the evap pressure sensor play a part in this to?
Hey @mattheww, just wondering if you ever solved the problem? My 2013 E350 started periodically showing a check engine light, and now it's on permanently and I cant clear it. I plan i taking it to my mechanic to run a smoke test to see if any leaks are found...
Thanks for the quick reply Dave, but i'm not sure which line you think i should test... and even if i did, i don't have place to work on my van... that's why i have to take it to the mech.
