I have a 2021 F250 Platinum. Purchased new. I installed a Ready Lift 2.5" Puck Leveling Kit, Stock wheels and tires at the moment. Now has 23k miles, It didn't necessarily have death wobble, but did wonder on the highway. I've rotated the tires a few times and have had two alignments as part of my regular maintenance to this point. Decided it wouldn't hurt to upgrade the stock steering stabilizer. I didn't want flashy, but quality function. I decided on the Fox 2.0 Performance Series ATS (983-02-143).
My question is. With those of you that have this what adjustment do you set it to? This has 24 clicks of adjustment, out of the box if seemed to perform like the OE that I replaced. I backed it to 0 and clicked it to 20 (where it currently is). It feels much tighter and nicer to drive. I'm thinking of trying another click or 2, is there a negative effect if it has too much adjustment in it? Haven't replaced a steering stabilizer before this one and I'm learning as I go. I assumed the play in the wheel was normal for a 250 before I started looking into it. (Came from a 1500 Sierra SLT Ultimate).
Thank you,
