Steering Wander
When I upgraded tires and went with 285's, I noticed a little steering wander (47K miles). I noticed that on the highway it would wander too much with the ruts. I took it in today for oil leak repair and some other service issues. I told them to adjust the steering box and I have a new Rancho 5410 steering stabilizer they are going to replace the OEM with. Any other suggestions?

Sometimes a little more toe-in helps, you can check with your alignment guy, even ask him to put a little toe in it. I went from stock 265/70R17 to 325/70R17 and am also getting some wander. Those fat tires like to follow the grooves in the roads. I am going to add a better steering stabilizer, and next spring probably get a rotation, re-balance, and an alignment (with some toe-in)
