U0155 code after reconnecting repaired cluster

I just got my cluster repaired by circuitmedics and after installing my truck has a CEL. The code my scan gauge II is showing is U0155 "instrument cluster is not receiving or transmitting messages on the CAN bus". I tried to clear the code on my scan gauge and it doesn't seem to clear the code on the truck. I unhooked the cluster and re-connected it with no change. I have since cleaned my battery terminals and have a battery charger hooked up so I can make sure they are fully charged.

any ideas

Might be best to check in with circuitboardmedics. See what they think.
Did you have this code prior to the repair?

I got one of those as well, but it doesn't set the CEL. I'm the last one to offer electrical advice, but perhaps, you can start by checking continuity/resistance on the CAN network. I know there are specific pins in the PCM connectors for CAN, and in the OBDII connector. Basically, you got a wiring problem, I expect. Something grounding out.

You might also disconnect the cluster again, clear the codes, and check to see if it reappears - i.e. maybe you had a problem before but it was only a "soft" code - one that didn't trigger the CEL. Now that your cluster is fixed, it became a hard code. But, IDK.

I have reached out and i am waiting for a response.

should my scan gauge be able to clear the code or do i need to disconnect the batteries for a period of time to clear the codes?

I have not used scan gauge. I understand it is good at reading engine sensors. But it is limited in ability to find DTCs. Probably limited in ability to alter them as well.

I like the Scangauge to get readings (even though it is expensive for what you get), but you need ForScan if you want to troubleshoot,
