4.6 running rough
So I have an 08 w the 4.6 The truck is beat. I’ve had it since basically new, it’s been smashed into by city slickers, rammed many deer , broke through the ice once, has over 200K. I had an issue with it starting for quite a while. Occasionally it would crank a really long time then start. I didn’t really look into it past changing the fuel filter. That issue went away a while but Recently it felt like it dropped a cyl or something. I pop the hood and the air cleaner band rusted off so who knows how long I ran dusty dirt roads w no air filter.
it seems the code I got in the odometer area was P0101. There’s lots of other stuff but I don’t understand what much of that stuff means. Seems thats maf issue..
changed maf sensor, blew out the intake tubes. Still runs like crap. I can go anywhere from 40-65 mph depending on the day. Not sure what else to try.. take the entire intake off and clean all that?
Some extremely rusted items to remove to do that.
