Not really any questions, just wanted to say hello. I sold my 2018 F-150 this week and turned around and bought a 2012 F-350 Diesel Lariat... heh... huge difference for me. I have a lot of reading and learning to do, so will be browsing the site trying to pick up what info I can. I forgot I had an account on here heh. Anyway, used Truck. I have not bought used in a lot of years, so...am sure I will be fine
Anyway, seemed like a good deal. Friend works for Ford and advised me to get the 6.7l not the 6.4 heh.. so. (not ragging on anyone's Ford.. I have zero idea about the differences... have not owned a Diesel before.. just worked on Cummins 670s in the Navy.. not since then.)
Anyway, 188k miles....but needed to get something to tow my boat better and this fit the bill and appeared clean.
Going to replace the batteries as I did not catch that and they look horrible heh.. but, not a big deal. Other than that, the truck is "older" but runs well. A lot quieter than I anticipated, engine wise. The truck came with brand new 35" tires.. may sell those and put it back down to 18" tires.....not sure yet.
Also... the factory stereo has lots of features, but too small for my eyes lol.. so, plan to replace that soon too :P
