Ok, everyone was really helpful last time. I have 2 more problems.
First, my high beam indicator on the dash is opposite of what it should be. When on dims, the blue light on the instrument panel is on and when high beams are on, the blue light is off.
Second, I am guessing this is a ground problem. The right turn signal on the instrument panel is on all the time when the lights are on. Not on when the lights are off. It will flash when I turn on the turn signal, but will be steady on when the turn signal is off.
when did that behavior start? Have you made any wiring changes, replaced the headlight switch or dimmer switch? new instrument cluster?
The green/black wire coming out of the dimmer switch feeds the high-beam filaments and the high-beam indicator wiring is spliced into that wire.
No idea on the high beam.
On the turn signal in the cluster: Clean the bulbs & sockets for the front & rear turn signal & brake lights. When the connection is bad in one of those, the power seeks ground thru the turn signal indicator bulb in the dash cluster, & lights it up.
You may have to replace the bulbs with new, sometimes no matter what you do a used bulb will not work.
