Rear axles values/desireability

Hi, so I have the rear half remains of two 67-72 f150s

then I have one that is red
I believe the one has a dana 44 rear end and the other has a ford 8(or 9) rear end, both are 5 lug which I believe the pattern is 5x5.5 I think.. anyway.. i could be wrong about those from memory, so I can verify again for sure. I also have at least 2-3 more axles which are ford 9 and ford 8 inch rear ends. I only say or because I noted the special look but didnt realize the 8 and 9 looked the same but the size and placement of bolts, etc, would differentiate.

i believe this looks like an 8 inch

Anyway, I currently drive a 96 f150 with an 8.8 and long story short, it will need a different diff at some point. Since swapping to the 96 appears to be at least involved, I was wondering what the values to the at least 2 original rear ends might be to someone or if they are valuable for trade, generally speaking, and what i should look for as far as tags, stampings, measurements, etc...

I know the two one the trailers have coil springs in addition to the leaf springs, if that makes any difference?

also, off chance, does that 6 cylinder head look like it could be ford in origin? I am asking because my grandpa only had a 6 cylinder oliver besides the 300 in the 96 in the last 30 years, was wondering if maybe the head came off his old f150(before he went to a gmc)

ANyway, I know for certain I have way too many parts/objects from chevys to get around to selling, but knowing two f150 from this era were chopped up here, I may own parts for this era truck that I have no idea what they are but may be worth something to people for restoring or repairing. I know for a fact I am drowning in ford hub caps, for example. There are so many.... I also have a early 50s f6 truckwith flathead, 2 speed rear and a 1953 customline with flathead and an overdrive from factory. So what im getting at is if anyone ever wants to take a stab in the dark and show me somethign to see if I have it, id happily look. we are trying to downsize how much stuff we have lol. emphasis on you have to show me a part because i may have a great memory but one thing i unfortunately do not have is years of first hand working knowledge of what things are, what they do, or what they are from. I have a lot of that for chevy stuff but the ford stuff not so much.

Not sure on the diff questions, sorry. Hard to see under all the stuff but none of them look like a Ford Inline 6 head from the 4th gen. It could be a Falcon 6 or something else smaller. I don't know those at all. Just the 240s and 300s from 65 on.

The dana 44 may be worth some money. The other on is a 9" for sure. But there were so many flavors you could have a common one or a rare one. I would look for tags on the rear ends and post the numbers on here. You may have junk or you may have gold.

i lied the red one is not with coil springs although the blue one doesn’t really look like it was proper.. anyway, I did a lot of yard work to hack back weeds and grass so I only snapped pics of the rear of both. I don’t know if this is much help

So I believe it to be a Dana 60 based on the cover matching a diagram of numerous covers for ID and also the 60 on the housing where my other Dana axles say 44

(1980 GMC)

Also, there appears to be a factory spare tire holder still present, and It has no functional value to me, if that is worth something to people restoration wise or just generally, I would be willing to let it go. Same with the one on the other trailer, which has an additional retainer perpendicular to the long piece, which I Realize now I havent shown a pic of. But it seems to date the bed and stuff to 1967-1969 because of the auxillary filler neck provisions on the bed according to someone on another thread.

I'd be interested in the spare tire hardware, but what year is it? I have a 70. I just need the hardware, not the tire brace itself

one is a f100 and one is a f150, I think. Not sure if that matters anyway. But I wouldn’t know the year. Is there a frame derivative or way to id based on the axles? The frames are “whole” about to where your seat probably ends before the area toward the pedals. At least on one. If the frame has an engraving I could prob Id. Square body chevy trucks have one on the driver rail about where the coupler would be if you snip tje c channel and bend it to an a, but I haven’t seen any on these Ford ones. I can take pic of both later to show what they have.

dont mind the falling apart stuff LOL

I am referring to this one that I already showed, which is a 67-72 ford F--150? I think with a d60 and a spare tire carrier(this is a trailer that used to be a truck)

This is the other one which is a 67-70 ish F100 camper special or something, its not visible but it also has a spare tire carrier on the other side of the diff at the back. this one has the aux fuel doghouse. also a trailer.

I dont have any need for the Ford spare tire carrier or hardware these are just yard trailers that were used for firewood for many years.

Fyi on the Ford 8 vs 9 inch
The very bottom bolt that holds the pumpkin in:
on 8 inch you can put a socket on it!
On 9 inch you can't, wrench only.

OK so then I am interested in the Ford spare tire carrier hardware. Can you get a clear picture of the pieces so I can compare to mine? Thanks

That is indeed a Dana 60. If it has 8 lug hubs it is off a F250. If it has 5 lug then it's off a H/D F100. To tell what year the bed is you can tell by the rear reflectors. This is 1969.

This is a 1968 with only side reflectors. The 1967 didn't have any reflectors rear or side.

I couldnt tell if it had a side reflector or not, both of them, but the rear definitely did not exist.
That part of both fenders seems to be missing. Well, the blue one seems to just not have anything oriiginally but the red one cant tell.

those spare tire carrier stuff I can get moree pics but its really not that much more you cant see here. if you show me yours If you are not sure that would be helpful.
