A question about the spring holder. Is it hard to get the phone in and out? Can a phone be put in or removed one handed? I was thinking about getting the bulletpoint magnet mount.
The phone can be taken out one handed. Putting it into the mount can sometimes take 2 hands. Definitely want to do it while sitting still. The reviews for all of the magnet mounts say that they don’t always stay on while off road, or on rough pavement. The part of the magnet mounts that attach to your phone also interfere with wireless charging, if you have that capability.
I like these, plus you can get them with a wireless charging option since the wireless charging pad in the SD's is kind of a pain in the a$$ to get to.

thank you for sharing that @gSwift I just placed an order, he has some really nice stuff, very clean. Looking forward to trying it out.

I honestly don't like the RAM Mount hardware for builtrigh. I just got it. Its so heavy. The Long arm weighs a ton. I'd actually sell you the hardware for a discount. Hasn't even been used a week.

I tried this one on my last truck and ended up removing it. It blocks the PTBA **** and my knee kept hitting it. It is clean though.
I like the look of these ProClips better than the Builtright models... use look cleaner. I like the looks of the one in this photo, but would rater have it on the passenger side. I wonder if it would be a problem though with the passenger hitting it with their knee...
I also like the angle dash mount model too... It looks like it would get it out of the way and wouldn't take up room in the tray in the center dash top.

That Bulletpoint kit is one of the more cost effective ways to do a dash mount setup like that. There was some controversy in the past between them and 67 designs, but whatever. I currently have the Builtright dash mount and plan to use a mixture of brands to mount my phone. Not the most cost effective and still undecided. I have an inexpensive magnetic base for my GoPro that is very strong, easily and firmly attaches to the Builtright mount.
I like how quick and easy it is to completely remove, and want to do the same for a phone mount setup. RAM has a couple magnetic ball mount options(RAM-B-202-339U, RAM-B-MAG66U). My thoughts are to combine one of those with either the 67 designs or the Bulletpoint phone mount. That would then require a 67 designs arm, since they have one that accepts the 1" RAM ball on one end, and the 20mm phone mount ball on the other end.

I agree the Bulletpoint is the easiest all-in-one solution and I like their mount and arm configuration best of everything I’m looking at. But while I don’t plan on mounting more than one thing right now I don’t like that it doesn’t have additional mounting holes like the builtright. Im tempted to get the Builtright base and do something else for the arm/phone holder. I also like how Builtright has the underside bracing. Wish all this was cheaper though! I really just need a single phone Mount🤦🏻♂️

You can easily add a 3rd mounting ball to the Bulletpoint mount. They designed it that way. You just use the slots, etc that make up the flag in the center of the mount plate. If you use the 2 bolt ***** that I linked to in my previous post, all you have to do is ream 1 hole just a tad larger & you can have a total of 4 ***** like I put on mine. No big deal at all. I too, was tempted to go with the Built-right because of the underside brace, but with everything that I have on mine, I see absolutely no need for the brace. Like 4wd6.7, I found that no 1 company had absolutely everything that I needed to do all I wanted to do. By going with the Bulletpoint, I only had to use 67designs to complete my mount. If I had gone with Builtright, I would have needed to use 67designs & Bulletpoint to complete my mounts.
I don't get the point... while I'm driving, I don't need my phone in my face. Nor a Garmin, nor this nor that. I will keep my phone in the wireless charging slot until I'm done driving.
I guess some of you guys have a need for other stuff. Not me though. Nice clean and clear interior spaces for me.
Now people on or between job sites, I totally get it. Well, partly get it. Same thing while driving around the 200,000 acre ranch. I may not understand the need for all this stuff, but I'll take all y'alls word for it.
