96 f250 7.3 Auto shifting problems
transmission wiped out had it rebuilt... transmission worked fine for a few hundred miles then It wouldn't shift into passing gear... I figured out that it was the LED brake light bulbs... Put a couple more hundred miles on now I sporadically lose 1st gear. Somedays it's fine other days it won't. Tranny fluid is clean. 3rd brake light is an LED. Any ideas appreciated.. thanks Tom

Smell the fluid, colour should be brilliant red, but is probably burnt and brown in colour, and you may have damaged the TC.
Have you removed the LEDs, and put regular bulbs in?
If you still have LEDs, did you put correct resistors installed with the lights?
