so in looking around on different websites for multifunction switches for our trucks, I noticed most places offer one that says “with electronic flasher” and one that says “without electronic flasher.” anyone know what that’s about?
That seems odd. On all three of my OBS trucks, the flasher button is part of the multifunction switch. You can pull the plastic cover off around your steering column and check out if yours is integrated into the switch. The cover comes off in five minutes with four Philips screws and an allen wrench or awl to get out the ignition switch.

I’m sure mine is too, but I’d have to check. The weird thing is all of them have the hazards button and look the exact same. I might have to go down and check them out in person when I get the chance
Are they referring to 'electronic' as in a chip or silicon, transistor is controlling the flasher?
Where 'without', could be a mechanical coil relay type flasher?

I really don’t know, nobody elaborates on that. But I wouldn’t think you’d need two different switches for different flashers
I have one on my shelf waiint for me to put it in ,its been only a couple years now lol.
I called the local Ford dealer and they didn’t have it, he said they were backordered but he had a different part # for it than the one you showed. I don’t even know if the switch is the problem or my wiper module so I’m not gonna replace it just yet. That one also says without tilt steering?

i have never had a truck or been around an obs with tilt steering so I guess I didn’t realize they are different. Maybe a tilt wheel has the mfs follow it’s rotation? Oops tho ignore me. But it’s right for my truck then lol

there is a testing procedures with dvom tht can deterkune if mfs, wiring, or the wiper module. Or motor. I guess. Go pull your right side kick panel and glovebox and make sure it’s connected and no issues. Grounds. Etc
