2 week wait to be seen.....

Just left the dealership and had to schedule an appointment to be seen that could take about 2 weeks before they can get me in and then they need to keep the truck for at least a few days.
A few things I need looked at/ worked on..

First Oil Change
Enable OCR
When you slow down and the speedometer gets to around 3-4 mph, the truck seems to slightly “jar” back and forth slightly until you stop.
Driver Seat shifts around a little when turning corners.
Passenger mirror squeaks when it folds in/ out.
Steering wheel is crooked at the 11 o’clock position.
Wanted to see if they could put DiElectric grease on all electrical fittings near rear tire to prevent future issues.

I’d do the oil change myself and go ahead and grab a tube of dielectric grease and get those connections too while under the truck changing the oil. Also, with Forscan you can enable the OCR. I heard some dealerships will do that for free but also some charge for it… either way Forscan allows you to make a lot of changes for free (once you buy the cable). It would be worth looking into. There is already a 2022 Forscan thread started here and over at the Ford Tremor forums.

There have been times of the year when my local dealer has been 1-2 weeks out for just an oil change, but the next dealer 30 minutes away has next day openings. If this dealer is your only choice I would consider doing like suggested above, do as much of it as you can yourself. Then maybe they will only need a day to address the other concerns. It's not the 2 week wait that would bother me, but more so the leaving the truck for a few days.

I'd check around. I had that happen too (3 weeks in this case) so I basically told 'em to f-off and took it to another dealer. I had been dealing with them for a few years with 4 different trucks so it's not like we didn't have a history. Being in Florida you must be close to more than one Ford dealership. Good luck.

Guess I'm lucky living in a rural area. Had a couple small issues and needed an oil change. Called dealer and was in 4 hours later. Waited there and left 90 minutes later.
