What do you think is 'regularly'? Etrailer sells just the gear and I ordered one so I have a spare. Its not the rollers that wear out unless they are plastic. This winter I think I'll replace them all.
Well, I mean "regularly" since I have been working as an RV Tech for some months now. Didn't mean to alarm you LOL. You should be good for some years when you replace them. Thankfully they aren't too difficult. Since Covid, parts are harder to get and not always good quality though. That's the PITA part.

( @oldbird1965 ) Glenn, there is a master RV Technician here (on the FTE) that owns a 7.3L Super Duty dually if you feel you would like to contact him for some advice. His name is Steve and his FTE member name is RV_Tech. I have his email address if you would like that too. Shoot me a PM as I don't feel sharing it here is a good idea due to the spam bots. He is a great fella to converse with and helped me repair my front landing gear on my 5th wheel when it came up with a wiring fault while we were on the road a few years ago. He also helped me resolve a self inflicted no-light scenario on our heater when I installed one of those BBQ 20 lbs tank gauges on the valve for our tanks in the 5th wheel.
Lesson learned!
Great guy to speak to, very friendly, very direct and will tell you straight how it is or should be.
He is retired from service calls now, but had 30+ years in the business and is a RVDA/RVIA Master Certified RV Technician. He still enjoys helping those looking to help themselves or those that just need some advice.
He has a blog that he and his wife maintain that I used to read from time to time, it has been a while since I have been there though.
Good luck to you, these things are worse than homes because they experience a 9.0 earthquake each time we move them. We do love it though and will continue to travel with our RV for as long as we are able to.
