Question Prep for goose neck

I'm going with the Reese Goose Box and I want to keep the Bed Rug . What's the best way to cut a Bed Rug?

Good idea, my original thought was to open a rectangle. I have an adjustable "Hole Saw", thanks.

I also just did the center and the two holes closest to the tailgate.

So just the three holes. Saw no reason to do the other two.

I have this Bosch hole saw kit. Is it big enough for a gooseball? I don't know, but hope to find out someday.

Since the truck did not come with factory OEM prep, I'm going with the B&W under bed Goose Ball Prep and 7 Pin connector on the driver side.

Lightbulb Thanks

Finished product

@senix Excellent idea, I used a 3” for the safety hooks and 4-1/8” for the goose ball.
