Tachometer 88 F250

Instructions from after market tach say attach green wire to negative side of coil. I have two wire coming from the negative side of the coil, can I connect to either wire?

Thanks, Dan

One of the wires goes to a noise suppressor, doesn't it?

Just throwing this out there, the wires for the tachometer are already present in your current gauge cluster wiring harness, even if you don't have a tach. I'd have to find a wiring diagram to find what color wire it is, but that will save you from running wires outside of the cab.

GNR22,

Thanks, I think I can locate a wiring diagram, I see that my fuse box has a tachometer listed in the #16 space, might be able to track it from there.
