I have a Bulletproof diesel remote oil cooler kit so I can’t do that I’m trying to hook up a gauge in the low pressure oil sensor or idiot light

Sorry, I forgot about that. I am not familiar with the typical location of the BPD oil filter, but I would have thought you could still test the LPOP by cranking. I guess not though.

so I have hooked up mechanical gauge to icp port ant low oil switch and have 1700 psi and over 15 psi of oil preasure at crank with a new IPR and still no start any ideas - also did air leak through ICP and command ipr shut and no leaks im stumped - fuel pump is turning on with key , the only think that is a thought is when i drained oil i hade more then should be can that be from all the cranking and no start

Wow finally started must have been air in system form air test so my IPR was bad after 50,000 miles was as clean as could be when pulled out will let you guys know after road test but sounds perfect Thank you all for the help

That's unusual - a bad IPR with a fine screen, but it does happen. Much more often, something gets stuck in the IPR, holding it open, and cleaning it solves the issue. At this point, it'd prolly still be worth cleaning that IPR and swapping it in real quick to see if will still run with the old valve. If so, keep it as a spare.

The only thing difference is it fired after I put mechanical gauges in ICP and low oil port

Ficm was 47.5 cranking and FL was 12.5

Yes you can. I've got the BPD relocated oil cooler kit and can jump the starter.
