I have a 2014 Ford F250 XL with a 6.7 diesel
I was driving this morning I want to accelerate to pass a vehicle and heard a loud pop and then what felt like a severe drain in power I also noticed set my Turbo gauge it's not working anymore does anybody know what this might be
Sounds like your CAC (cold air tube) from the inter cooler to the engine burst. You will need to replace it. Most on here go with an after market kit. Here is where I replaced mine some years back.
This happens a lot. Inter-cooler pipe has ruptured. Mine was covered under warranty. Aftermarket (stronger) parts are available. A simple google search should provide more information
Known failure on these trucks. If you replace with OEM, it's probably going to last another 5+ years. Or, you can spring for aftermarket. I went with SPE because I like machined parts. Install is easy:
Sometimes it is just the hose that pops off. i replaced the hose clamps on mine after it pooped off at 2 different times. Finally the plastic tube broke. Loud band, scary as heck. You have no air to your intake from the turbo now...just atmospheric pressure which means low power, lol.
I literally bought a tock part from the dealer last week for a hundred bucks and replaced just the top part (above the X on it) in about 5 minutes. I ordered the Rudys kit just after i installed the stock part.

I was gonna go OEM, then when I saw the price I laughed and bought aftermarket
