Rear end swap

I have a 1996 f150 302 super cab and I want to swap rear ends to one with a lower gear I was wondering will a f250 rear axle bolt up to my truck without having to move any mounts or hangers.

Itll bolt right up, assuming the trucks are same bodystyle. The lug patrern will be different.

Also ujoint will probably be different, and driveshaft length may change.

You need an F150 8.8 axle, what gear does it have now? 3.55 was quite common should not be hard to find and would be a nice upgrade from 3.08.. if that is what you have. If you can't find a suitable axle a gear swap might just be the most cost effective option, and if you do that go with 3.73 or 4.10 depending on what you use the truck for.
