i have a 01 f250 with s 409 h rear end, i found another rear end with v425c tag on it. Can i swap the rear ends, the only difference i see is the pinion flange. will they swap out form one to the other.
i have looked at the rearend id pages and havent found the one for the v425c. im going to try tommorrow and see if the drive shaft flanges will be the same spline or not. does anyone know what they are suppose to be torqued at?

Hi I am needing to swap my rear axle as well and it is the s409h also. Did you have luck with the v425? I have a v423f that i am wanting to swap it out with, but the flange is flat compared to the u-joint on my truck. I really hope it worked and maybe i can get back into my truck soon.
