rear end swap

i have a 01 f250 with s 409 h rear end, i found another rear end with v425c tag on it. Can i swap the rear ends, the only difference i see is the pinion flange. will they swap out form one to the other.

if you search for rear end code there is a list of the rears and it might help.

i have looked at the rearend id pages and havent found the one for the v425c. im going to try tommorrow and see if the drive shaft flanges will be the same spline or not. does anyone know what they are suppose to be torqued at?

i hope to find someone who knows about this, the guys at the damn salvage yards sure dont know and they will sell you anything.
