VSM Help
I have an 02 F35O Lariat, CC, LB, 7.3, 4X4, ZF (6 SPEED). Dome lights work intermittently, key fob not at all, radio stays on door open key removed.
I have searched four different dealers for a VSM that matches my truck's build info, the part number I am searching for is 4C7Z-15604-AC and all I have found is that it's a discontinued part.
Anyone know where I might find this p/n VSM?

The VSM problem is a well known malady especially with the 02, maybe because it was the first year build with a VSM instead of the GEM. I do not know. A lot of people on this site have posted on this problem but you have to search for most of the post due to them being fairly old. I would advise due diligence when troubleshootingVSM related problems. I am pretty sure my VSM is the root to my trucks ailments but it will not cause me to not be able to drive the truck, if it was to kill the truck then that would be another problem. I will keep looking for a replacement but it's hard to find the exact part number I am looking for.
