2005 F250 power steering flush

Ready to do this on my 6.0, is Mercon lV ok to use?

I don't believe they ever made Mercon IV, but the normal Mercon V is fine. Easiest way is disconnect the return hose at the hydro-boost and run a hose from that to a used oil container on the ground. Turn the truck on and press/release the brake pedal. Each time you release it will push out a small amount of fluid. Easy, no mess!
