Just today this beeping started coming from behind the dash of my 95 E150. It beeps for a second then 1/2 second pause then beeps again over and over. I have an after market radio but pretty sure it's coming from the dash not radio. Any advice? It is soooo annoying.
I confirmed it's coming from the dash not the radio (from behind the gauges) I did this by turning off the engine end and turning the key backwards so just the radio powers on, no beep. Then I turned the key to the number 2 position and sure enough when the dash lights come on so does the beep. What the heck could it be? The owner's manual says nothing.
I get that on occasion, it is the key reminder, you know, when you open the door with the key in the ignition, sometimes I play with the door plunger till it stops.
My 99 did a buzzing. On the driverside door plunger there is 3 wires. One is for the buzzer and one is for the dome. I'll check and find out which one i cut. But it helps cause no more buzzer. And I never take my key out, I carry a key to unlock the doors
Shot in the dark here, but are any of your idiot lights in your dash burned out? Vehicles with airbags have an audible alert when the airbag light is burned out.
I say remove the noise maker,my airbag light has been on a while.
Do you know where it's located? If it's behind the gauges I'm not taking the whole dashboard apart. Is there perhaps a fuse I can pull to shut this stupid thing up? I drive this van 9-10 hours a day 6 days a week and this beeping is really annoying.

Shouldn't have to dismantle too much of the dash getting to that module. On the later years its accessible from the radio opening or by removing the dog house. Its a hassle for sure but not that difficult or time consuming.
You were correct Thomabb it was just the bulb I replaced it and the beeping is gone. But now I created an even bigger problem, when puting the dashboard panel back on I touched the two cigarette lighter wires and now the cigarette
Lighter does not work. Of course the owner's manual is useless in locating the fuse. I found the fuse box under the hood but can't locate the correct fuse. Need help here ASAP as I need the 12 volt source to charge my phone everyday.
