For about 2 weeks now, the SiriusXM TravelLink in my 2020 F150 Limited has not been working. I first noticed that when I'm viewing the navigation map, I'm not seeing the traffic patterns, where the major roads/interstates show green/yellow/red. When I go check the status of TravelLink, it shows that some features are not available as shown in the picture below.
I called SiriusXM and they checked the status of my account and said everything should be working. This truck came with the 6-year free TravelLink package and I have a paid subscription to SiriusXM which is current. Went back to the truck and checked every setting I could find and didn't see any issues. Called them back again and asked for a supervisor who again confirmed "it should be working." I kept pressing the issue and they transferred me to their Advanced Technical Support team. We spent about 30 minutes troubleshooting but still could not get it working. They finally said that I needed to take it to my dealer.
Has anyone been through this lately or even heard of this issue? I just don't understand what the dealer would do to fix this. Still seems to me that this is a Sirius issue!

Welcome to the club. Ford pushed an update that trashed them. Hopefully another update comes through soon. Might call Ford to complain, although I'd guess they are aware.
Yep, I downgraded Sync to back to 3.4.20351 and its working again. The 3.4.21020 update that was pushed via auto update is broken.
Remember to turn off automatic updates.
Did the downgrade once before and must have forgot to turn off the update feature. About four days later, apps quit functioning. Checked version and it was back to current for Sync.
As soon as I found the issue with 21020, I turned off auto updates. Probably won't trust Ford with auto updates ever again.
What's kind of bad is apparently Ford and Sirius do not communicate much. They Sirius folks have no idea about this being a Ford-induced issue. I originally worked it as being a Sirius-side issue and wasted a lot of time with different levels of techs. Wasn't until I went out to Cyan Labs website and ran across numerous references to the issue that I realized it was a Ford thing.
I too am having this same issue with travel link and it too started in late June. I have a 2020 f 250. Sirius knows nothing and ford knows nothing. Thanks for pointing out about Sync update. Can someone tell me the steps to return my sync software version back to 3.4.20351? Thanks so much
Thanks for this helpful info. Can you tell me the steps to return the sync update to the earlier version? I have a 2020 F250. Thanks so much.
If you have access to that update, say from a previous download, then use it to build your sync update thumb drive.
Me, I used the Syn 3 Updater found at https://cyanlabs.net/applications/syn3-updater/
With it you can pick the version you want to try. However, if you are not a little tech savvy, then this interface might be a little intimidating. There is a lot of good reading at their community forum https://community.cyanlabs.net/c/ford-sync/sync-3/9.
I had the same problem with XM Travel Link, Took truck back to Ford and had APIM replaced reprogramed, it worked for a few days, went back to dealer and had software update, worked for a few weeks, called Ford was told a new software update was available, downloaded to a thumb drive installed and Travel link did not work, Called XM and was told Travel Link had expired, I told them it was a 5 year subscription they told me they had canceled it, I demanded they activate it as the new truck 5 year program, They did and within minutes it was working!! This was a XM screw up! The incompetence of the folks at SirusXM is unbelievable! I was ready to trade my truck for a new one but due to Fords production problems was unable to find a new one!! Probably saved my self 10 to 15 grand!
