Ya, that's my fear, a waste of time. I'm hopeful they will find a solution and dump it through the automatic updates. Hopeful, but low expectations. Actually disappointed I paid $500 when I ordered my truck and included Navi, I only will use Google Maps, and only like the travel link to show traffic on my daily driving. That is now gone (hopefully temporary) but I have no high expectations. Let us know if / how you ever sort out if you do, thanks
Oh, I am going to go ahead and download the TSB-suggested version myself from CyanLabs and apply it myself at lunch today.
I do use my navigation system - my wife's expy doesn't have it, so I use google maps there. Not much disappointment for me with this truck. Over the 10 or so trucks I have had - including one old GMC, a chevy 2500hd, a few super duties and other f150s, this is my keeper truck, I think.
Applied the 3.4.20351downgrade to my sync 3 system during lunch break. All works now. Had done this once before and somehow the system updated itself. Must have left auto update on. Verified it was off today.
Service writer called me this morning and said he and the technician had both came across the TSB themselves yesterday and were getting with the their IT person to try two download the "official" dowgrade thumbdrive from Ford..

Please keep us updated. Ironically mine will work first thing in the morning, then 10 - on , no go. weird. It's a shame that the fix is a TSB to revert back, then turn off automatic updates, very comical actually.

I don't recall if the TSB indicates the auto updates should be turned off, but I did. As pointed out earlier, this is not a fix as much as a patch and the patch is going in reverse on Sync versions.
Will see. I know I had weather maps and all of the sync sirius apps were good to go on the way to work this morning on my short drive into work.

How do we know that 3.4.20351 is the version the TSB rolls back to? Has someone been to the dealer and had the install done and confirmed the version?

I am using information I found at another web site - cyan labs- "For SiriusXM, the issue starts with the 3.4.21020 update. Sirius Travel Link issues have existed before this TSB and are also addressed in previous TSB releases. TSB 21-2150 rolls back to 3.4.20136 using the “Sync 3 Universal Thumb Drive”, although 3.4.20351 also fixes the Sirius issues specifically."
I went with the recommendation of 3.4.20351 as opposed to the 3.4.20136 based on the urging of a cyan lab member at that site who has shown a lot more insight into the issue than others, is a fellow Texan, has f150 in his nickname and shows some knowledge.
He helped me fix it once before, but thinking I must have left auto updates on as after about 3 days, it upgraded to current version.
I have this exact same problem on my 2020 Fusion. This happened after the update SiriusXM support is no help. I was able to get the weather to come up one time by sending a refresh. I did a Master Reset which was a pain to get everything reset again. After the master update, all the travel link stuff was there. BUT, the music didn't work. After a couple of hours, the music came backend the travel link features disappeared again.
I use the travel link features a lot. This is such a pain and no-one seems to know anything about how to fix.
Master reset does not fix this problem. The only thing it does Is wast about an hour of your time getting everything set back. I don't understand why Ford does to provide a way to backup and restore your settings. Travel link will work for a while after the master reset but it will get again after a few minutes or hours.
Your screen looks exactly like mine. So far, nothing I have seen here is a fix. One poster said that Ford found a bad board..,I find it hard to believe all of us would have a bad board after the update.

you can get it functioning again if you downgrade sync version. it is working for me this time. If you read through the thread this is a known issue and there is TSB that instructs technicians to use a special thumb drive that downgrades sync version.
I just posted on Fords Facebook page asking for a resolution to be pushed through.
Please feel free to add your displeasure as well https://www.facebook.com/ford/

Hopefully we can get a lot more commenting on your post. I can't believe this has been going on so long and not much happening.
Thanks for the info. I just checked mine today and it's not working after the update.
I have been working with XM for a month now same issue. Some days it works others it doesn’t. Refreshed signals don’t work, Master Reset doesn’t work. Very frustrating!!
It has been over a week since I used the Cyan Labs approach to downgrading my sync version to 3.4.20351 on my 2020 F150 and my Sirius travel apps are still working. I will leave my auto updates off.
Took my 2020 Explorer to the dealer. Told them my Sirius Travei Link not working. They found that the APIM was not properly calibrated. Also performed a Sirius update. Has been working fine for a week.
Hi Buffewo,
Is the Travel-Link in your Explorer still working? Travel Link in my 2021 Explorer stopped working about 2 weeks ago. I contacted sirius did some refreshes talked to their techs and super techs. been to the dealer. Still not working.
It will work for a few restarts after a master reset then back to not working.
Maybe I need to get my APIM (what ever that is) recalibrated.
