In the spring entertainment system said unavailable and nothing worked. Did a reset and nothing. Unhooked battery and worked for a while then came back.
Dealer said they found no issues but they updated software and worked for a few months but now it's back.
Bring it to the dealer when its NOT working rather than when you get it to work properly.
sorry I probably wasn't clear. when I brought it to them it was not working. They said they had never seen this issue before and when they updated the software it worked again.
what I'm trying to figure out is what potentially is causing this because I don't want to have to bring it to them to update the software every time it happens.
Sorry. I misunderstood. Next time it stops working, bring it to the dealer and ask what they're going to do. If they say "update the software" insist that they determine what version is currently installed and what version they propose to install. If they're the same, its not a software problem. Now they can fix or replace the hardware. If the software keeps getting corrupted, there's a hardware problem.
