Speedometer problems

Does anybody know exactly what would cause my speedometer to max out when only going 5 mph or so. Also my odometer stopped working at the same time and says error. I just got my transmission rebuilt and I need to have this fixed due to the trans and the speedometer not working together properly thanks!

What is the conversion constant set to?
If it was set at 1.0 that would do it.
If not that you more than likely have a bad PSOM.

Conversion constant set to 1.0:

PSOM is most likely dead. I just ordered one for my truck 20 minutes ago from Module Mechanics in Florida. I was having hard shifting issues and ran all of the diagnostics that I could find. Speedo worked perfect but signal wasn't being transmitted to ECU. I'll know in a day or two if that's the issue, I'm reasonably confident that it is.

It is inside the cluster enclosure.
The "SPEEDO" (speedometer head) plugs into the PSOM PC board.

Yes I get mine from pick-n-pull salvage yards.
Then copy my mileage and the trucks setup into the new PSOM.
Then set the change times to 6.
