WING WINDOW LATCH CLEANING

Trying to clean the latch of the wing window on a 1993 F150. Tried 409, GoofOff and lacquer thinner with little success. Any suggestions on cleaning these latches? Can these latches be painted?

Nothing to clean, the plastic is sun bleached. Replace it or paint it.

Easy to remove to "'brighten" up, small roll pin to tap out and it's in your lap to service. Larry

Glad you asked, mine look terrible in my '93 as well.

Kind if hijacking this thread. But, one of my windows is completely missing this latch. But, glass and frame are good. How do these latches attach to the vent window?
